During the Holocaust, many people and organizations betrayed their fellow man. They helped the Nazi's identify Jews, and reported those who were part of the Resistance.本科

Some, like IBM, did it for money. Others, like the whores who literally slept with the enemy, tried to curry favor with the occupying forces. Some were only children, indoctrinated by Hitler's Jugend, the Nazi youth movement, to betray their parents. Some were probably just trying to stay alive.

Regardless of their reasons, they were all collaborators who sent millions of innocent people to their deaths.

This concept of seeking collaborators, whether by carrot or stick, is not new. It was used by the chief priests and elders, who bribed Judas to betray Jesus Christ to his death. It's used by most governments trying to push their agendas on an unwilling populace. And now it's being used by Barrack Hussein Obama as he tries to force universal, government health care on America. Here's how.

1. The Drudge Report linked to a video that purportedly shows Obama stating that he wants to eliminate private health insurance.

2. The White House blog posted their own video, which includes this statement:

You know the people who always try to scare people whenever you try to bring them health insurance reform are at it again, and they're taking sentences and phrases out of context and they're cobbling them together to leave a very false impression.

3. The Drudge Report responded with a link to another video, uncut, from 2003, where Obama states the following:

“I happen to be a proponent of a single payer universal health care program. I see no reason why the United States of America, the wealthiest country in the history of the world, spending 14 percent of its Gross National Product on health care cannot provide basic health insurance to everybody. And that’s what Jim is talking about when he says everybody in, nobody out. A single payer health care plan, a universal health care plan. And that’s what I’d like to see. But as all of you know, we may not get there immediately. Because first we have to take back the White House, we have to take back the Senate, and we have to take back the House.”

While the truth of Obama's position in this back and forth is relatively unimportant, except perhaps to Obama, we should note with concern the net result of Obama's campaign against the internet. The following is taken directly from the White House blog:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

As Obama attempts to control the content of the internet, American citizens are asked to tell the White House directly when they see something “fishy” [read: critical] relating to Obama's health care agenda. American citizens are encouraged to report on one another. American citizens are induced to become collaborators.

Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves. But beware of men, for they will hand you over to the courts and scourge you in their synagogues; and you will even be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. But when they hand you over, do not worry about how or what you are to say; for it will be given you in that hour what you are to say. For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved. But whenever they persecute you in one city, flee to the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes. (Matthew 10:16-23)
