About the Lecturer
Dr. Wu Chunsi, associate researcher and director of Department of American Studies of Shanghai Institute for International Studies, received a doctoral degree in international relations from Fudan University in July of 2002 and studied Sino-American space relationship at Center for International Affairs, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2004~2005). Her research interests mainly center on Sino-American security relations, arms control, nuclear deterrence, and Northeast Asia security. She authors Deterrence Theories and Missile Defense (2001, in Chinese) and co-authors Deterrence and Stability: China-U.S. Nuclear Relationship (2005, in Chinese).
